William Hedberg has been designing and fabricating the Shen Tao line of training equipment by hand for 40 years.

Currently, in order to devote more time and energy to the educational branch of the Shen Tao Approach William is seeking to partner with an established manufacturing/marketing/distribution company.

All of the pieces of equipment in the catalog have been thoroughly prototyped, rigorously tested and their manufacturing process streamlined for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety.

Supply chains for the prefabricated components have been well researched, and professional relationships established with suppliers.

Each piece of equipment has an extensive library of copy, photographic images, and videos ready for marketing.

The brand is one of elegance, solidness, spatial efficiency, minimalism, clean lines, rounded edges, and quality.

The Shen Tao catalog of equipment consists of 30 different pieces of training apparatus.

Each piece can be used independently, or by following a concept of modular design, be combined with other apparatus from the Shen Tao catalog, or a complementary movement discipline such as Pilates, etc.

One of the top priorities in designing the equipment was that the users tactile experience when interacting with the equipment would be one which was sensual, comfortable, and safe.

Towards this end, all the structural components are either cylindrical or routed with a three-quarter inch round over.

The primary structural components are fabricated from red oak, sanded to 220 grit, and finished with a hand rubbed oil.
